About

Bayhan Gürhan

Bayhan Gürhan was born on 14 March 1980 in Adana, Turkey. His passion for music began in childhood through a fascination with arabesque, Indian and Arabic melodies; during the years his family lived in Germany he received piano and flute training. He returned to Turkey in 1991.

Introduced to a wide audience through the first season of Popstar Turkey in 2003, the artist quickly became a beloved name with his distinctive interpretation and powerful stage presence. Following the competition he released the albums "Hayal Edemiyorum" (2004) and "Kısa Veda" (2009), later broadening his repertoire with works such as "Akustik Performans."

His 2024 reinterpretation of "Tiryakinim" rapidly climbed to the top of the digital charts and resonated widely on Spotify's global lists. Blending the arabesque tradition with a modern sensibility, Bayhan Gürhan continues to meet his audience on stage and across digital platforms today.
